Gail helped to establish an Eldercollege program on the Coast, acts as chair of the West Sechelt Community Association, served for two years on the Sierra Club BC board followed by four years (part of that as co-chair) on the Sunshine Coast Conservation Association.

Tim is a lawyer who represents First Nations on matters such as Crown consultation, business transactions, and employment. He also advises community groups in relation to mining, oil and gas, and urban sprawl.
