Colin's time is occupied with climate change outreach, steering committee work for the SeaChoice seafood campaign, and pursuing a goal of broadening Marine Protected Area policy to include protection of habitats that support critical biogeochemical processes, specifically the sequestration of ‘Blue Carbon’.

Dave’s first involvement with the Sierra Club was in 1991, when he was contracted to create the first comprehensive map of forests on Vancouver Island. The success of that campaign led to the Sierra Club creating a GIS program of its own in 1992 which has been an integral part of our campaigns.

Laura is the newest member on our Development team. As the Grants Administrator, she coordinates, submits, and tracks all grant proposals and reports for our many projects and campaigns. She is always on the lookout for opportunities to fund and develop new and existing Sierra Club projects.

Ana coordinates Sierra local groups around the province and provides communications support. Most recently, she has been involved in the campaign to protect estuaries as repositories of Blue Carbon with Sierra Club BC's marine team.
