Life CycleThe flowers age into small brown seeds, which spread into new areas on the wind. Animal UsesFew animals graze on yarrow because it has a bitter taste. Traditional First Nations UsesCrushes roots were used to stop toothaches, and bath water with yarrow in it was used to heal aches and pains. Modern UsesMany healers still use yarrow to help aches and pains, and it is one of the most popular herbal remedies in the world. Status
