School Programs

What programs are available?

Please note that for the remainder of the 2009-2010 school year we are only running our Sustainable High Schools Programs.

  • Climate Change Education Program: This elementary and middle-school level program focuses on having youth take action towards climate change.
  • Temperate Rainforest Programs: (Temperate Rainforest Environmental Educators): These elementary and middle-school level program investigates the Temperate Rainforests of Canada.
  • Interior Ecosystems: These programs help students to gain a deeper understanding of BC's Central and Southern Interior Ecosystems, the plants and animals that live there, how we effect these special places, and how we can become environmental stewards for them.
  • Eco Stewarship: This elementary and middle-school program povides hands-on environmental stewardship skills and strategies so that students can make the leap from ideas to action!
  • Sustainable High Schools Project: Presentations will focus on the connection between schools and climate change, and presenters will work with students and other stakeholders to identify and develop those connections that are most applicable to them.
