Sustainable High Schools (SHS) Project
Students are introduced to current sustainability issues in schools, the indicators that are used to assess these and their effects on the school’s impacts on climate change.
The SHS Project is offered in partnership with the Sierra Youth Coalition, the youth branch of the Sierra Club. Sustainable High Schools is adapted from SYC's successful Sustainable Campuses Project. Both are youth-driven initiatives created to support school communities in envisioning, assessing and improving their level of ecological and social well-being.

Youth Action Gathering 2009
This August Sustainable High Schools is partnering with goBEYOND to provide YOUth across BC with a fun, inspiring leadership training camp. The Youth Action Gathering will give you the tools, skills and inspiration you need to make change happen in your school and community next year!!
