The Sierra Club: Investing in the Future

The Sierra Club knows that a healthy future relies on teaching today’s youth about the environment, and our interactions with it. We want young people to take action for the environment, but we want this action to be grounded in sound knowledge.

Teachers have identified a need for balanced, engaging and current environmental education materials. The Sierra Club’s Education Program is filling this need.

Why Your Donations Are Critical

Keeping our educational services free depends entirely on generous support from foundations, government groups, individuals, and others. Without this , we would be unable to provide programs to over 10,000 students annually, with a ripple effect reaching families, teachers, local organizations and many others in each community.

Our Stewardship Giving Program

When you donate we will use your gift wisely. We will keep you informed of how we use your donation, and, if you like, we will periodically send you special updates on our program. And we will recognize you for your gift through our Stewardship Giving Program – our way of saying ‘thank you’ for your valuable support.

	Orca Whale Steward: For your generous gift of $25,000 or more.
	Grizzly Bear Steward: For your generous gift of $10,000, in addition to all of the above, you will be invited as a guest of honour to one of our special annual events. As well, you’ll receive a special gift.
	Gray Wolf Steward: With your gift of $5,000, in addition to all of the above, we would be please to invite you to an annual meeting with our Executive Director, as well as a special gift.
	Mountain Caribou Steward: For $1,000 you will receive all of the above, plus recognition on our website and in our Education E-Newsletter and a special gift.
	Bald Eagle Steward: Your donation of $500 will include all of the above, plus a copy of our Donor Quarterly Report, recognition in our Annual Report and a special gift.
	Sockeye Salmon Steward: With your gift of $250 you’ll receive a Sierra Club membership, an Education Stewardship Package, a copy of our quarterly Sierra Report and a special gift.
