Volunteers are the heart of a grassroots organization like the Sierra Club. They are the heart of small communities like ours. The work of the Sierra Club, Haida Gwaii Group, is entirely dependent on the dedication of volunteers.

We are participating in a province-wide initiative, starting in spring 2008, to educate drivers about the financial, environmental and health advantages of reducing engine idling and keeping tires properly inflated.  Volunteers are need for educational outreach days. Training will be provided.
