Headquartered at Rebecca Spit. Participants select a section of a beach and remove as much garbage as possible. The garbage is then trucked to the landfill. This large operation isachieved with 100% volunteer effort.
Come to the headquarters at Rebecca Spit to select a beach to clean. Take your collected garbage to one of the designated collection spots or bring it back to the spit.
Each year 3 or 4 dumptruck loads of garbage are removed from our beaches. This is of great visual and ecological benefit.
Food and drinks will be served from noon till 4.
