Jenn Hoffman (M.Ed.) has been with Sierra Club of BC since 1997, holding the positions of Education Director, and more recently Development Director. Program planning, systems implementation, citizen engagement for change, and fundraising are just a few of her focus areas.  Jenn holds an impressive fundraising track record in her work building B.C.’s premier environmental education program; under her direction the Sierra Education Program has emerged as a leading provider, annually engaging over 10,000 students per year in action-learning, hands-on programming.

In addition, through Sierra Club BC Jenn established and managed the Green Street Youth Engagement Program, a national program that engages youth in environmental learning and sustainability initiatives across Canada. In 2004 Jenn completed a Masters in Education at the University of Victoria. Previous to her work at the Sierra Club, Jenn spent time working in many fantastic backcountry locations throughout the US, including Yosemite, Yellowstone, and the North Cascades.

When not actively working in her new position as Development Director to build the capacity of the BC Chapter, Jenn can be found out in search of fresh backcountry powder or plotting her next overseas travel adventure. Jenn splits her time between the west coast of BC and Canmore Alberta, both of which she currently calls home.
