Kerri Lanaway Bio

kerriHaving spent her childhood and many years thereafter exploring wild B.C., Kerri is a great lover of this thing we call nature. At age 15, she participated in a year-long outdoor education program and experienced her first Environmental Youth Alliance conference. At this turning point in her life, Kerri became aware of the tremendous power youth have and decided to pursue her interests in environmental education and activism. Since then Kerri has worked (and played) in many of B.C.'s wild spaces, and even had the privilege to explore other countries too! More recently, Kerri has received her BSc in Environmental Studies and worked at various nature centers in BC, including Victoria's own Swan Lake and Christmas Hill Nature Sanctuary. She spends her spare time enjoying the great outdoors with her son.
