Pharis Patenaude Bio

pharisAfter years of bush work and an undergraduate degree in biology and environmental studies, Pharis started teaching high school marine biology in the Gulf Islands and found a great joy in sharing knowledge with both youth and adults. Starting with the Education Program in 2002 as a member of the in-class delivery team, for the last several years she has worked with the Climate Change Education Program while continuing to build the stewardship networks of Green Star! and other programs. This year adds the co-development of our new Sustainable High Schools Program to be delivered in high schools across the province.

When she's not doing this, she's playing, writing or teaching music, or swimming in the lake.
