Sheila Giesbrecht

Sheila Giesbrecht

A farm girl from Saskatchewan, Sheila has always nurtured the land, forests, lakes and their wildlife as she spent her leisure time in Northern Saskatchewan. Sheila and her family moved to the West Coast in 2008 to embrace all that BC has to offer and call Vancouver Island “home”.

She brings with her years of office administration, human resource and management experience gained through her employment at the University of Saskatchewan and the non-profit sector.

Sheila joined Sierra Club BC in 2009 leaving behind her Human Resource position with BC Government to pursue her passion and support Sierra Club BC in preserving and protecting wilderness and the environment.

In her spare time Sheila enjoys travelling, gardening, camping and hiking with her family, adventuring out to discover what “Beautiful BC” has to offer.
