Help Permanently Protect B.C.'s Flathead!

To ensure its lasting protection, the Flathead River Valley needs a National Park in the south-eastern one-third of the valley, to fill in the missing piece of the adjacent Waterton-Glacier International Peace Park and World Heritage Site.

the proposed Site C dam would be the third hydroelectric dam on the Peace River in northeastern British Columbia. The $8 billion taxpayer-funded project would flood 5,200 hectares of fertile agricultural land as well as destroying 4,900 hectares of boreal forest in order to provide power for the oil and gas industry.
