Tell the Prime Minister to Protect the Pacific Ocean

After working for almost a decade to develop a plan for B.C.’s North Coast and ocean, the federal government pulled out from an agreement which would have funded the plan through completion in December 2012, excluding the voices of citizens and communities and making it easier to rubber-stamp destructive projects.

Have Your Say on the Proposed Site C Dam

the proposed Site C dam would be the third hydroelectric dam on the Peace River in northeastern British Columbia. The $8 billion taxpayer-funded project would flood 5,200 hectares of fertile agricultural land as well as destroying 4,900 hectares of boreal forest in order to provide power for the oil and gas industry. Take action.
